I completely panicked when my jaw locked and started throbbing during my wisdom tooth growth. But my dentist reassured me it's just the tooth pushing through the gums. After a couple of warm saltwater rinses and a safe painkiller, it settled down fine.

When my wisdom tooth was acting up, the stress actually shot up my blood pressure. I had to consult both my physician and dentist before taking any heavy painkillers. Keep your lifestyle stress-free and get a professional opinion.

To soothe the throbbing, try chewing gently on a small piece of fresh ginger. Practice deep, calm breathing to relax the jaw muscles, as clenching them due to stress only increases the tooth pain.

Wisdom tooth extraction can cost anywhere from 2k to 8k depending on the dental clinic. I suggest visiting a government dental college hospital; they do high-quality extractions and X-rays at a fraction of the private clinic cost.

Avoid heavy gym sessions or running when your tooth is throbbing, as the increased heart rate makes the throbbing in the jaw much worse. Go for light walks and focus on keeping yourself hydrated instead.

If it's an impacted wisdom tooth, no home remedy will stop the pain permanently. Get a digital OPG X-ray done and show it to an oral surgeon. Getting it extracted is a very routine and quick process nowadays.

Bro, wisdom tooth pain is literally the worst, especially during exams. I just kept ice packs on my jaw and did warm saltwater rinses every few hours to survive. Go see a dentist, they might just extract it easily.
