How to stop throbbing tooth pain?

My tooth started hurting badly last night, and it's a throbbing kind of pain that won't let up. It's making it hard to concentrate. How can I stop this throbbing tooth pain quickly?

Please go to a proper dental clinic immediately. I had severe throbbing pain last month and my dentist clearly explained that it was a deep infection that needed root canal treatment. Don't rely on self-medication.

You can try pressing a small piece of clove (laung) near the aching tooth or do a warm saltwater gargle for temporary relief. But please remember, if there is swelling on your cheek or a fever, see a dentist immediately.

Beta, garam pani mein thoda namak dal kar kulla karo, usse thoda aaram milega. Lekin dukh badhne se pehle sheher ke acche doctor ko dikha lena, daant ki takleef badhni nahi chahiye.

I was reading that throbbing tooth pain is often caused by pulpitis, where the nerve inside the tooth gets inflamed. It seems home remedies only mask the pain temporarily while the infection remains, which is quite scary.

Listen, throbbing means there is active pus or nerve inflammation inside. No amount of clove oil is going to cure that. Get an appointment with a dentist today and get it sorted out permanently.
