How to stop stroke?

My uncle recently had a stroke, and it's made me very conscious about my own health. I have some risk factors, and I want to know what steps I can take. What are some ways to prevent or stop a stroke from happening?

I ignored my mild numbness and slurred speech last year thinking it was just weakness, and ended up having a stroke. Please, never ignore sudden symptoms. Go to a hospital immediately and get regular checkups for your blood pressure and cholesterol.

To prevent strokes in the long run, we must keep our family's health in check. We closely monitor my father's BP, make him eat low-salt meals, and ensure he takes his blood thinners exactly as the doctor prescribed.

Hey, don't stress too much but make sure your parents are eating healthy and going for regular doctor visits. Keeping high blood pressure and diabetes under control is the best way to prevent any such sudden health scares.

A stroke is a major medical emergency and cannot be stopped with home remedies or internet hacks. If you or someone else is experiencing facial drooping, arm weakness, or speech difficulty, call an ambulance and go to the nearest hospital right away.

The most realistic way to prevent a stroke is managing stress, avoiding smoking, and getting a yearly health checkup. If you have a family history of heart disease or hypertension, please consult a cardiologist to get a preventive care plan.
