How to stop monitor from going to sleep?

I'm working on my computer and sometimes my monitor just goes black, even though my PC is still on. It's annoying to keep moving the mouse to wake it up. How can I prevent my monitor from going to sleep mode automatically?

Hey, I had this same issue during my work-from-home shifts! Go to your computer's power settings and change the 'Turn off display' timer to never. It saves so much frustration.

I wish I could prevent myself from falling asleep at my desk as easily as my monitor does! You just need to adjust your screen timeout settings to 'never' in your control panel.

While adjusting your computer's screen sleep settings so it stays on, make sure you also eat healthy, hydrating snacks like cucumber slices to keep your own energy levels up during long screen hours.

If you're keeping your monitor active for long hours, use that time to stand up and do some light stretches. Don't let your body go to sleep while your monitor stays awake!

You can change the sleep settings easily on your PC. But sitting in front of a bright screen for hours can cause severe eye strain, so please rest your eyes and consult an eye specialist if you experience persistent headaches.
