How to stop mac from sleep?

My Mac goes into sleep mode even when I'm just reading something or have applications open. It's quite disruptive when I'm in the middle of something. Is there a simple way to prevent it from going to sleep so often?

I wish I could prevent myself from falling asleep at work as easily as a Mac! Just go to your System Settings and adjust the sleep timer to 'Never' under the lock screen menu.

Beta, sitting in front of a laptop all day is bad for the eyes. You can change the sleep settings in the control panel of your computer, but do take breaks and wash your eyes with cold water.

Use the Terminal command 'caffeinate' on your Mac to keep it awake during long tasks. While it runs, I use that time to hit my daily standing goal and stretch a bit!

Aap simple ek free app install kar lo 'Amphetamine' naam ka App Store se. Ek click mein screen chalu rehti hai, baar baar settings badalne ki jhanjhat nahi hoti.

If you leave your Mac screen on constantly, keep an eye on battery heating issues. Make sure the vents are clear so it doesn't overheat and cause any safety hazards.
