Elbow pain at night often points to how you're sleeping or a repetitive strain injury from the day. Try sleeping with your arm straight, perhaps even a towel wrapped gently around the elbow to prevent bending it fully. If it's persistent, a quick consult with an orthopedic doctor or physiotherapist is time well spent to get a proper diagnosis and treatment plan.

Elbow pain when sleeping? Don't just try anything you read online. It could be tennis elbow, golfer's elbow, or something else entirely. You need a proper diagnosis. See a doctor or a physiotherapist. They can tell you exactly what's wrong and how to manage it, rather than just guessing.

I had terrible elbow pain while sleeping just a few months ago, turned out to be mild tennis elbow from my gym routine. What helped me was wearing a soft brace at night to keep my elbow straight and using a cold pack before bed. Plus, my physiotherapist gave me some stretches. It slowly got better.

While diet might not directly stop elbow pain at night, eating an anti-inflammatory diet, rich in vegetables, fruits, and healthy fats, can support overall joint health. Avoid processed foods. But for the immediate pain, and especially since it's interrupting sleep, I would suggest consulting a physiotherapist or doctor.

I used to get some elbow discomfort, not severe pain, while sleeping. For me, it helped to change my pillow and make sure my arm wasn't tucked under me in weird positions. I also tried to sleep on my back more. For actual pain, best to check with a doctor, they can tell you the real reason.
