How to stop drooling in your sleep?

My husband often wakes up with a wet pillow, and I've noticed he drools quite a bit in his sleep. It's a bit embarrassing for him. Is there a way to stop drooling in your sleep?

Drooling in sleep, huh? My pillow looks like a map of the Ganga sometimes, haha. It's embarrassing, but also like, what can you do? I heard sleeping on your back helps, but my body has other plans. Guess my dreams are just that juicy! If it's really bad, maybe a doc knows a magic spell.

I used to drool a lot in my sleep, and it was quite annoying. What helped me was trying to sleep on my back as much as possible, or at least propped up slightly. Also, making sure my nose isn't blocked so I breathe through my nose, not my mouth. If you have nasal allergies or congestion, treating that can make a big difference.

Drooling in sleep is pretty common, so don't feel too conscious about it. Often, it's just about sleeping position or having a blocked nose. Try sleeping on your back or use a nasal strip if you have congestion. If it's persistent and bothersome, it might be worth mentioning to a doctor, they can check if there's any underlying issue.

For drooling in sleep, if it's impacting your sleep quality or comfort, a practical step is to try different sleeping positions, like sleeping on your back. Check if you have any nasal congestion as that forces mouth breathing. If it's a persistent issue, a quick check with an ENT or general physician is efficient to rule out any underlying causes like sleep apnea. Don't let it affect your productivity!

I used to drool a lot and thought it was just a funny habit, didn't pay much attention. Later found out it was partly because of chronic nasal congestion which I'd ignored. So, if it's bothering you, get your nasal passages checked by an ENT. Sometimes, these small things can point to bigger issues, don't ignore them!

Try to breathe deeply through your nose. If it causes concern, consult a health practitioner. Keep a positive mind and care for your body as a temple.

Drooling in sleep, if it's consistent, might be a sign of something like blocked nasal passages or even a dental issue. Before spending on fancy solutions, try using saline nasal drops or steam inhalation if you have congestion. If it persists, a basic checkup with a GP can figure out the cause and prevent more expensive treatments later. Better to fix the root problem economically.
