Beta, you can do a warm water sitz bath for immediate relief. Sit in a tub filled with comfortable warm water for 15 minutes, it will relax the area and reduce the burning. Also, avoid sitting on hard chairs and eat simple, light food to keep your motions soft.

I know how incredibly painful and embarrassing this issue can feel, and it makes even sitting or walking a total nightmare. I suffered in silence for weeks because of the awkwardness. Please don't be ashamed; visiting a friendly doctor who prescribed a soothing cream was the best thing I did.

I was looking this up recently and found that drinking plenty of water and eating fiber-rich foods is key to preventing constipation, which is the main cause of this pain. For quick relief, applying a cool compress can help numb the discomfort temporarily until you can see a doctor.

While warm sitz baths and using soft cushions can give temporary relief, severe pain in that area should not be ignored. It could be due to piles, fissures, or an infection that needs proper medical treatment. Please consult a general surgeon for a safe and correct diagnosis.

I used to suffer from severe pain during bowel movements, which would also shoot up my blood pressure due to the straining and stress. Making major lifestyle changes, eating fiber, and avoiding spicy food helped immensely. Please get yourself checked regularly to resolve the root cause.
