How to stop a heart attack in progress?

My elderly neighbor had symptoms that made me think he might be having a heart attack. Thankfully, it turned out okay, but it made me wonder. What steps should one take to stop a heart attack if it's already in progress?

This is extremely serious. You cannot stop a heart attack that is already happening at home. Any delay can cause irreversible damage or even death. The only correct action is to call emergency services immediately and get the person to a hospital. Please, do not try anything else.

Oh my god, heart attack?! That's not something you can just 'stop' like a craving, ya know? Immediately call 108 or get to the hospital. No time for chai-biscuit talks here, it's super urgent!

Oh, this sounds really scary. So, if someone is having a heart attack, what are the first signs or symptoms to look out for? Just so I know what to do if it ever happens around me.

I once dismissed some chest discomfort as acidity, and I deeply regret that. If you even suspect a heart attack, don't wait. Call an ambulance immediately. Every minute matters in getting treatment and saving heart muscle. There is no home fix for this.

I've heard about people chewing aspirin during a suspected heart attack. Is that actually true, or is it just something from movies? And if so, should everyone do it?
