How to soothe tummy pain?

My stomach has been hurting on and off since morning, not like severe pain but more like a nagging ache. Sometimes it feels gassy too. How can I soothe this tummy pain?

For mild stomach pain, a cup of warm ajwain water with a pinch of black salt usually helps clear out gas or indigestion. Try to rest and avoid heavy, oily meals for a day. If the pain is sharp or doesn't go away, please consult a doctor instead of self-treating.

Over the years, I have realized that most tummy pains are just our digestive system asking for a break. Sip on some warm ginger tea or buttermilk with roasted cumin powder. Give your stomach some light khichdi and rest, it usually settles down fine.

Stomach pain always makes me so anxious, I start worrying if it is something serious like appendicitis. If the pain is on the lower right side or is very intense, please go to a clinic immediately. For simple gas, try lying down and drinking some warm water to see if it relaxes.

Agree with keeping it simple. Drinking warm mint tea or ajwain water always helps soothe my stomach spasms quickly.

Whenever I get a bad stomach ache after eating outside, I just drink hot water and avoid food for a few hours. Usually, it's just gas or acidity and clears out. But yeah, if it is hurting like crazy, don't sit at home, go see a doc.

First, identify where it hurts and if you have other symptoms like vomiting or fever. For basic acidity or bloating, a mild antacid or warm water can help. If the pain is severe, sudden, or continuous, please don't take random painkillers as they can irritate the stomach lining more; see a doctor.

I hope your stomach pain gets better soon. Try resting with a hot water bag on your belly, as the warmth can really help relax the muscles. Take care.

While light home remedies can relieve minor indigestion, persistent abdominal pain shouldn't be ignored. It's always best to consult a general physician to rule out issues like infections or stones. A professional diagnosis is much safer than guessing.

Our stomach is highly sensitive to our emotions and stress, so try to take slow, calming breaths. Sip on some warm fennel tea (saunf water) to gently soothe the digestive tract. Be gentle with yourself today, and seek medical help if the discomfort continues.

Please don't ignore sharp or ongoing stomach pain. I once ignored what I thought was simple acidity, and it turned out to be a severe gallbladder issue that needed immediate care. If the pain is intense, please visit a doctor right away.
