How to soothe tooth pain?

Suddenly developed a sharp toothache yesterday, and it's not going away. Eating anything hot or cold makes it worse. What can I try at home to soothe this tooth pain?

For normal tooth pain, simple warm salt water gargles 3-4 times a day work best to clear any food stuck there. You can also press a small piece of cotton soaked in clove oil on the tooth. If it doesn't settle by tomorrow, just go to a local dentist instead of dragging it.

Oh no, toothache is so annoying! 😭 Try placing a cold ice pack on your cheek, it really helps numb the area fast. Keep smiling and get a quick checkup done soon! 👍

I usually prefer visiting a proper dental hospital instead of trying self-treatments. They did an X-ray for me and explained the exact cavity issue clearly. Better to get a professional diagnosis so you know exactly what is causing the pain.

My son had a terrible toothache last week and we kept a cold compress on his cheek to comfort him. Avoid giving them very hot or very cold food while it hurts. Please consult a dentist so they can check if there's any deep cavity.

Tooth pain toh sach mein dimaag kharab kar deta hai na. Haan, clove oil is a good temporary option, but don't make it a permanent solution. Doctor ke paas jaakar thoda checkup karwa lo, relax rahoge.

Having tooth pain when there is biryani on the table is the biggest tragedy! I had to survive on warm, plain khichdi and soup for two days. Take my advice, get it fixed by a dentist quickly so you can eat normally again.

Don't ignore tooth pain hoping it will cure itself. Home remedies like warm water rinses are just temporary fixes to get you through the night. Book a dentist appointment tomorrow morning and get it sorted out permanently.

I had a massive toothache last month and it was so frustrating. I just kept spitting out warm salt water which gave me some relief, and avoided chewing from that side. Do see a doc though, sometimes it's just a simple cleaning that solves everything!

I noticed my sleep quality drop drastically on my fitness tracker whenever I have a toothache. Applying a cold pack before bed helps calm the nerve endings so you can rest. Track your pain level and schedule a dentist visit if it persists more than 24 hours.
