Honestly, an abscess is an infection, so trackers won't help much here except to log when you take your meds. Do not wait for it to get worse or try to pop it. Gently rinse with warm salt water to help soothe it, but please book a dentist appointment right away to clear the infection properly.

I completely understand how exhausting and painful this is, it literally kept me crying all night. Please do not suffer in silence thinking it will go away on its own. Apply a cold compress on your cheek to numb the area for a bit, but do see a doc because antibiotics are usually needed for this.

When you have other health issues like thyroid, you realize how infections can mess with your whole system. Please don't ignore an abscess or just take random painkillers. Get a proper dental checkup and follow up diligently to make sure the infection is completely gone.

At my age, my teeth have a mind of their own and this abscess pain is a different level of torture. Cold water on the cheek gives some temporary peace, but let's be real, we are not doctors. Go get it checked before you end up living on just dahi-rice for a month like I did.

Currently reading this at 3 AM because tooth pain simply refuses to let me sleep. Clove oil works for like five minutes but then the throbbing starts again. Save yourself the dark circles and get to a dentist first thing in the morning, seriously.

Oh god, please don't let the infection spread, I always read scary things about dental abscesses online. Just do some warm salt water gargles right now to keep it clean and call your dentist immediately. It is better to get it treated fast so you don't have to worry about complications.

Beta, an abscess means there is pus inside, so home remedies will only give minor, temporary relief. You can keep a wet, cool cloth on your jaw to reduce the swelling thoda. But please go to a dentist today itself so they can clean it and give you the right medicine.
