How to soothe severe eczema?

My little son has severe eczema all over his body, and it's so heartbreaking to see him constantly scratching. His skin gets red and inflamed, especially after a bath. What can I do to soothe his skin and stop the itching?

Please do not ignore severe eczema or keep applying random cold creams like I did. I delayed seeking medical help until my skin cracked and got a severe bacterial infection that required antibiotics. Go see a qualified dermatologist immediately.

Haan, eczema sach mein bohot pareshaan karta hai, especially in dry weather. Dryness kam karne ke liye skin pe hamesha thick moisturizer lagao na. Par extreme cases mein doctor ko dikhana hi sabse best hai.

Sweating during intense workouts can sometimes trigger or worsen eczema flares. I make sure to wear breathable, moisture-wicking clothes and take a quick shower with lukewarm water immediately after my exercise. Always keep your skin hydrated.

I have managed skin dryness and rashes for many years. Wearing loose-fitting, soft cotton clothes and avoiding wool or synthetic fabrics directly on the skin helps immensely. Have patience, beta, and let the doctor treat it properly.

When eczema is severe, scratching can cause scarring and infections. Try putting a cool, damp compress on the itchy areas for ten minutes to calm the burning sensation. Make sure you follow up with a dermatologist for the right steroid or non-steroid creams.

I struggle with hormonal issues and skin sensitivity, so I am always very careful with what I apply. For severe eczema, it is best to avoid any scented soaps, perfumes, or harsh cosmetics. A dermatologist can give you a safe, tailored treatment plan.
