How to soothe pancreatitis pain?

My uncle was recently diagnosed with pancreatitis and he's been having a tough time with the pain. It gets really bad, especially after meals. Are there any specific ways to help soothe this kind of pain?

I know how terrifying and painful this condition can be, and it is completely normal to feel anxious. Please don't try to bear this pain or wait it out. Reach out to a gastroenterologist immediately to get evaluated safely.

Pancreatitis pain is extremely severe and usually radiates to the back. When I had an attack, my doctor put me on strict bowel rest (no food or water by mouth) and IV fluids in the hospital. Never try to manage this pain at home with home remedies.

Pancreatitis is a serious medical condition that requires proper hospital care. I went to a leading multi-specialty hospital for my treatment, and they monitored me closely. Please ask your specialist clearly about the diet and medications you need to follow post-recovery.

I just got discharged last week after recovering from acute pancreatitis. The key is to strictly follow a zero-fat diet as prescribed by the clinical nutritionist and avoid alcohol completely. Take your enzyme supplements exactly as your doctor advised.

I haven't slept a wink because of digestive issues, but pancreatic pain is on a whole different level of bad. Honestly, trying to self-treat this is like trying to put out a fire with a water pistol. Go to the emergency room, let the doctors handle it.
