How to soothe hemorrhoids pain?

I've been dealing with hemorrhoids for a while, and sometimes the pain is quite severe, especially after a bowel movement. It makes sitting very uncomfortable. What are some good ways to soothe hemorrhoid pain?

I agree with using a sitz bath; sitting in warm water for 15 minutes daily really reduces the swelling and pain.

Piles pain is the universe's way of punishing us for sitting on the toilet scrolling reels for hours! Switch to a high-fiber diet, buy a soft donut cushion to sit on, and stop taking your phone to the bathroom. Your rear end will thank you immensely!

To avoid constipation which worsens hemorrhoids, I focus heavily on green leafy vegetables and whole grains for fiber, keeping my diabetic diet in mind. Be careful with sweetened fiber supplements or juices as they can spike your blood sugar. Drink plenty of plain water instead.

Please don't apply random herbal pastes or strong oils down there as they can cause severe chemical burns and infections on sensitive tissue. Easing the pain temporarily with warm water is fine, but you must consult a general surgeon for proper diagnosis and medical creams.

When I was dealing with severe pain, my doctor suggested I use a basic over-the-counter stool softener and a soothing ointment. That really helped ease the strain during bowel movements and let the area heal. Everyone's body is different, so seeing a specialist is best.

I know this is a highly uncomfortable and embarrassing issue to talk about, but please don't suffer in silence. Use a warm sitz bath to ease the acute pain today, and avoid straining at all costs. Go see a doctor; they deal with this every single day and will help you get quick relief.

I completely understand how terrifying it is when you see blood in the toilet and think the worst. It is extremely stressful, but hemorrhoids are very common and highly treatable. Breathe, eat high-fiber meals, and book a doctor appointment to put your mind at ease.
