Dekho, pehle toh ye greasy aur bahar ka junk khana thoda kam karo agar baar-baar gas hoti hai toh. Ek cup garm paani mein thoda sa jeera ubal kar pi lo, turant relief milega. Aur haan, khana khate hi turant bistar par mat leta karo, thoda chala karo.

Beta, thoda sa garm paani mein hing aur kala namak milakar pi lo, pet ko bohot aaraam milega. Thodi der khule mein dheere-dheere tehal lo taaki gas nikal jaye. Bilkul chinta mat karo, jald hi thik ho jaoge.

I totally get it, gas pain can be so sharp and uncomfortable that it literally stops you from doing anything. Try lying down on your back and bringing your knees to your chest, it really helps release the trapped gas. Hope you feel better very soon!

At my age, even smelling a samosa can cause gas that feels like a heart attack. A quick walk around the apartment compound usually does the trick to release the trapped wind. Keep some basic ajwain handy, it is our age-old savior.

While mild gas is normal, severe chest or upper abdominal pain can sometimes be mistaken for gas when it is actually a cardiac issue or gallbladder problem. If the pain is very intense, spreads to your arm or jaw, or is accompanied by sweating, please go to a clinic immediately to be safe.

I know how terrifying it is when gas pain builds up near your chest and you start worrying if it is something fatal. It is completely normal to feel scared in that moment. Sit upright, sip some warm water slowly, and give it 15 minutes to settle down; it usually passes.

I have tried everything from pudina pudhara to ginger tea over the years for my chronic bloating. In my experience, chewing half a teaspoon of roasted ajwain with a pinch of black salt and warm water is the most reliable remedy. Keep your meals simple and light for a couple of days.
