How to sleep without weed?

I used to use weed to help me sleep, but I've quit now. The problem is, I'm finding it really hard to fall asleep without it. Are there any natural methods or tips for how to sleep without weed?

I totally get it, trying to sleep without it when your brain is used to it is an absolute nightmare. Your mind just keeps racing and you feel so restless. Be patient with yourself, the first week is the hardest but your body will find its natural rhythm again.

Bro, I went through this when I quit. The insomnia is crazy for the first 4-5 days. I started hitting the gym hard in the evening to physically tire myself out, and I drank hot chamomile tea before bed. It really helped calm my mind down.

Does anyone else get cold sweats and vivid nightmares when trying to sleep clean? I'm on day three and I am so exhausted but too scared to close my eyes. I really hope this sleeplessness goes away soon.

Let's be real, the first few nights are going to suck. Just accept that you will sleep late and don't lie in bed tossing and turning. Get up, read a book, and only go back to bed when your eyes are actually heavy.

I smoked daily for years and stopping was tough. The trick is to establish a strict bedtime routine: warm shower, no screens after 9 PM, and reading a boring book. Your brain needs to relearn how to wind down without chemical triggers, and it takes about two weeks to reset.

Withdrawal-induced insomnia is very common when stopping cannabis. It is always best to consult a professional or a counselor who can guide you through cognitive behavioral therapy for sleep (CBT-I) to make this transition smoother and safer.

I agree, physical fatigue is the key. Try doing some running or heavy exercise during the day to help your body fall asleep naturally.

It is really tough initially but hang in there. Your natural deep sleep will return in a few days.
