How to sleep without dreaming?

Lately, my dreams have been very vivid and sometimes quite disturbing, making me feel tired even after a full night's sleep. Is there a way to sleep without dreaming or at least reduce it? It's really affecting my mornings.

Don't fall for internet claims about supplements or tricks to stop dreaming completely. Dreaming is a normal part of the REM sleep cycle and essential for brain function. If you are having disturbing nightmares that ruin your rest, speak to a qualified doctor or therapist.

Our dreams often reflect our daily mental clutter and worries. Try to sit quietly for five minutes before sleeping, let go of your thoughts, and practice deep, positive breathing. It helps calm the mind so you can enjoy a deep, dreamless sleep.

Frequent vivid dreams usually happen when your brain doesn't enter deep sleep phases properly. Try setting a strict sleep schedule and make your room pitch dark and cool. This tells your brain it is time for deep, restorative rest.

According to my fitness band, my REM sleep (which is when we dream) is much higher when I am stressed. I started doing guided meditation before sleeping to lower my heart rate, and my deep sleep percentage has improved significantly.

I would honestly love to have any kind of sleep, even if I dream of flying dinosaurs! But seriously, when I watch suspense web series right before bed, my dreams are wild. Keeping my phone away for an hour before sleeping helps me get a calmer sleep.

Eating heavy, spicy meals late at night can overactivate your digestion and lead to very vivid, restless dreams. Try keeping your dinner light and simple, at least three hours before bedtime, to help your body and mind relax fully.
