How to sleep with uneven hips?

Someone mentioned that my hips look uneven, and now I'm wondering if it's contributing to my back pain at night. Is there a specific way to sleep that can help with uneven hips?

Look, if your hips are uneven, sleeping randomly will only make the back pain worse. Put a proper pillow between your knees when sleeping on your side to keep things aligned. And go get it checked by a physio, don't just keep adjusting pillows forever.

Please get this evaluated by an orthopedic doctor or a physiotherapist soon. I ignored my uneven hip alignment for two years thinking it was normal back stiffness, and now I have chronic lower back issues. Sleeping with a knee pillow helps temporarily, but you need to fix the root cause.

At fifty, my hips have their own mind and they definitely aren't level. I have to tuck a memory foam pillow between my legs just to convince my lower back to let me sleep. If I don't, I wake up walking like a penguin the next morning!

Sleeping on your side with a thick pillow between your knees is key because it stops the top leg from pulling your pelvis out of alignment. If you sleep on your back, place a pillow under your knees and a small rolled towel under your lower back. This keeps the spine neutral and relieves hip pressure.

My teenager has mild scoliosis which makes her hips uneven, and she used to struggle with sleep. We got her a medium-firm orthopedic mattress and a contoured knee pillow. It has really helped reduce her morning stiffness, so maybe try that.

Along with a knee pillow for sleep, you should focus on core strengthening and glute activation exercises during the day, if your doctor permits. Stretching your hip flexors before bed can also release tension. It makes lying down much more comfortable.

I use a side-sleeping pillow to keep my hips aligned, which works well. Also, make sure you are getting enough calcium and vitamin D through your diet or supplements if needed. Keeping your bones and joints healthy from the inside is just as important as how you sleep.

I recently finished my physiotherapy sessions for hip misalignment. My therapist strictly told me to sleep on my back with a pillow under my knees, or on my side with a pillow between my legs. Following this for a month has completely stopped my morning hip pain.

It is honestly so frustrating when you can't even lie down comfortably without feeling that constant, annoying ache. I used to toss and turn for hours feeling so helpless. Finding a thin pillow to put under my waist when side-sleeping finally gave me some relief.

My fitness tracker showed my sleep quality was terrible until I started tracking my sleeping posture. Now I sleep on my back with an ergonomic wedge pillow under my knees. It keeps my pelvis neutral and my deep sleep score has actually improved.

Bhai, just sleep on your back and put a thick folded cotton bedsheet under your knees. It gives very good comfort to the lower back and hips. Don't sleep on a very soft spring bed, a firm mattress is much better.

Does anyone else get severe lower back spasms because of this? I try sleeping with a pillow between my legs but I always wake up with it thrown on the floor. I'm really worried this unevenness is going to cause permanent damage to my spine.
