How to sleep with toothache?

Been having a terrible toothache for the past two nights, and I can barely catch any sleep. It gets worse when I lie down. Any home remedies or sleeping positions that can help with this unbearable pain?

Sleeping with an elevated head is the best way to reduce blood flow and pressure on the tooth. However, home tips only offer temporary relief. It is best to visit a dentist to rule out deep cavities or abscesses.

You can press a warm, damp cloth against your cheek to soothe the ache thoda before sleeping. But do not put any heavy medicines or direct heat on the tooth itself. See a dentist first thing in the morning.

I had a massive toothache before a big presentation. I took my dentist's prescribed painkiller, rinsed with warm salt water, and slept with my head elevated. Don't waste time trying weird online hacks, just see a dentist tomorrow.

Hey, don't worry, just prop up two pillows and lie down so your head is raised. Avoid sleeping on the side of the aching tooth. If the pain becomes unbearable or your face swells up, go to an emergency clinic immediately.

I once ignored a throbbing toothache thinking it would go away, and ended up needing an emergency root canal. If the pain is keeping you awake, please don't wait like I did; schedule a dentist appointment immediately.

I hope your pain goes down soon. Try to sleep with your head raised and avoid drinking anything very cold or hot before sleeping. Take care.

I literally just survived this last night. Rinsing with warm salt water right before bed helps a lot. Sleep on your back with two pillows so the blood pressure in your head stays low.

I ignored a simple toothache and slept with painkillers for a week. It turned into a severe jaw infection that required surgery. Please go to a doctor if you have a fever or swelling along with the tooth pain.

Bro, toothache during exams is the absolute worst. I just put a cold pack on my cheek and keep my head propped up on a bunch of hostel pillows so I can sleep thoda.

When I had tooth pain, sleeping on my back with my head elevated helped me get some rest thoda. But since infections can flare up, it is always safest to get a dentist's opinion rather than self-treating.
