How to sleep with tinnitus?

The constant ringing in my ears from tinnitus is driving me crazy, especially when it's quiet at night. I can't fall asleep with this noise. Does anyone have tips for sleeping with tinnitus?

I was researching this because my uncle has that constant ringing in his ears. Apparently, playing soft white noise or rainfall sounds on a speaker near the bed helps distract the brain from the ringing so you can fall asleep.

Just turn on a table fan or play a soft hum on your phone. A completely silent room makes the ringing sound much louder, so having some background sound is the easiest trick to sleep.

Haan, this ear ringing can drive you crazy at night na. Just keep the room fan at full speed, the constant hum hides the tinnitus sound beautifully and you will sleep easily.

I tried all kinds of ear drops but they didn't help my tinnitus. What worked was using a sound pillow that plays soft instrumental music directly near my ears. It keeps the mind relaxed and helps me sleep.

The cricket match inside my ear never stops, honestly! The only way I sleep is by setting a sleep timer on my phone with rain sounds and placing it right under my pillow.

Doing 5 minutes of Bhramari Pranayama (humming bee breath) before bed really calms the nervous system and makes the head feel lighter. It helps me focus away from the ear ringing so I can sleep peacefully.

I deal with this too and it's highly annoying. Playing ocean waves sounds on my phone is the only way I can sleep.

Bro, don't stress too much about the noise, the more you focus on it, the louder it gets. Just put on a cool podcast on a low volume and focus on the story till you drift off.

Dealing with hormonal issues is hard enough, and tinnitus makes sleep even tougher. I use a low-volume white noise fan in my room which helps thoda. But do consult an ENT specialist to see if there's any fluid buildup.

I noticed my tinnitus ringing gets much louder if I have caffeine or salty food late in the evening. Try keeping your dinner light and salt-controlled, and keep a peaceful white noise machine on in your room.
