How to sleep with sore lower back?

My lower back has been sore for a few days, probably from all the moving I did last weekend. It's really uncomfortable when I try to sleep. What's the best way to sleep with a sore lower back?

Welcome to middle age, my friend! The only way I sleep now is by putting a thick pillow right under my knees when sleeping on my back. If I turn to the side, I hug another pillow like it's my life partner.

When my back is sore, I avoid sleeping on my stomach entirely as it ruins the spine alignment. Since I have high blood pressure, I also try to do light stretching before sleeping to keep the circulation good. Do get your posture and BP checked if this is a regular issue.

My mother always tells me to apply warm sesame oil before bed, which gives some temporary relief. But honestly, if the pain persists for more than a few days, please consult an orthopedician. For now, sleeping on a firm mattress or even a mat on the floor can help thoda.

With my long desk hours, lower back pain is very common. I put a pillow under my knees to relieve the pressure instantly. Don't waste time trying to find the perfect position, just use the pillow trick and sleep on a firm surface.

After a heavy plate of biryani, sleeping with a bad back is even harder! I find that sleeping on my side with a pillow between my knees helps a lot. Also, avoid eating right before sleeping so your stomach isn't bloated, which adds to the back pressure.

Look, stop sleeping on those super soft, bouncy mattresses; they ruin your back. Sleep on a hard bed or place a wooden board under your mattress. Apply a simple pain relief gel, put a pillow under your legs, and go to sleep quietly.
