How to sleep with snoring husband?

My husband snores SO loudly, it's driving me crazy! I can barely get any sleep next to him. How do other women manage to sleep with a snoring husband?

Honestly, after 20 years of marriage, earplugs are my best friends. I also nudge him to sleep on his side which helps for a few minutes. Otherwise, I just accept my fate and scroll on my phone!

I was actually reading about this yesterday because my partner also snores like a train. Apparently, raising the head of the bed by a few inches or using a thicker pillow can make a difference. Have you tried those nasal strips yet?

My wife forced me to see an ENT doctor last year because my snoring was keeping her awake. The doc told us that loud, regular snoring can actually be sleep apnea, which needs a proper sleep study. He got me on a CPAP machine and now we both sleep peacefully.

Try playing some light white noise or rain sounds on your phone! It really helps drown out the background thoda. Also, keep a pack of good earplugs handy on your side table.

My husband used to snore terribly and we tried all kinds of home remedies like steam and side sleeping. It didn't help, and he later developed severe hypertension. Once the doctor treated his airway blockage, both his blood pressure and snoring improved.

We ignored my heavy snoring for almost five years thinking it was just fatigue. It turned out to be severe sleep apnea that eventually affected my heart health thoda. Please force him to get a health checkup done before it leads to other complications.

Oh god, I feel your pain so much, yaar! Don't stress too much, almost every second husband has this issue. Try getting him a good contour pillow or sleep in another room on very bad nights, no shame in a sleep divorce!

I know how incredibly frustrating and anxiety-inducing it is when you can't sleep because of this. You lie awake getting angrier by the minute, which makes sleeping even harder. Talking to him calmly during the daytime about seeing a doctor helped ease my panic.

Sometimes heavy dinners and late-night dairy or heavy meals make the snoring much worse. Ask him to finish his light, vegetarian dinner at least 3 hours before bed and avoid sleeping immediately. It really made a difference in my household.

Please don't just ignore this as a annoying habit. Heavy snoring can indicate underlying respiratory issues or blockages. It is always safest to consult a general physician or a sleep specialist to rule out serious conditions.
