How to sleep with ringing ears?

Since a few weeks, I've been hearing this constant ringing sound in my ears, especially when it's quiet at night. It's really disturbing my sleep. How can I manage to sleep with this ringing?

Ringing in the ears can be really frustrating when trying to sleep. A very practical trick is to use a white noise machine or even a table fan to create a steady background sound. This helps mask the ringing so your brain has something else to focus on while you drift off.

Ringing in the ears often quietens down when we calm our nervous system. I suggest sitting quietly on your bed and doing Bhramari Pranayama (humming bee breath) for five minutes before sleeping. It creates a soothing internal vibration that really helps ease the focus on the ringing.

I have been living with tinnitus for five years now, and the worst mistake you can make is sleeping in a pitch-black, silent room. Always keep a low-volume hum in the room, like a humidifier or soft instrumental music. Also, make sure your pillow isn't putting too much pressure on your neck nerves.

I have just started experiencing this slight buzzing in my ears at night and it makes me a bit anxious. I find that keeping a soft rain sound playing on my phone helps a little bit. Does anyone know if using earplugs actually makes the ringing sound louder or softer?

Welcome to the radio station inside your own head, it has the worst playlist! Honestly, I just play a podcast on a sleep timer at super low volume. It gives my brain some actual words to listen to instead of that annoying cricket sound, and I usually pass out within ten minutes.
