Ear pain is so painful, ho na. Try to sleep with your head propped up on two pillows so the fluid doesn't build up in the ear. And make sure you sleep on the opposite side of the painful ear, haan.
I had a terrible ear infection last winter and couldn't sleep at all. Sleeping strictly on the healthy side with two pillows under my head helped drain the fluid and reduced the throbbing pain. Also, a warm compress outside the ear before sleeping works wonders.
Don't worry, just keep your head elevated tonight with an extra pillow to ease the pressure. If you have severe dizziness, fever, or fluid leaking from the ear, please go to a clinic immediately. Sleep on your good side and rest well.
Elevating your head is key because lying flat increases pressure on the eardrum. Do not put any random oil drops in your ear as it can worsen the infection if the eardrum is ruptured. Go to an ENT specialist for proper antibiotic ear drops.
Actually sleeping flat makes the ear throbbing way worse, yaar. I always use a travel neck pillow so my sore ear doesn't touch the pillow directly. It keeps the pressure off the ear completely.

I totally get it, ear pain is so sharp and makes it impossible to rest. Try to sleep on your back with extra pillows to elevate your head. It helps reduce the blood flow and pressure to that area, which eases the throbbing.
Look, don't put garlic oil or any home remedies inside the ear, it's risky. Just sleep on the opposite side and use a warm water bottle wrapped in a cloth on your neck and side of the face. Go see an ENT doctor tomorrow.
