How to sleep with diarrhea and stomach pain?

I've been having really bad diarrhea and stomach pain all day, and now it's night. Every time I lie down, the pain gets worse and I feel like I need to run to the bathroom. How can I possibly sleep like this?

Honestly, stomach pain with loose motions is the absolute worst, cannot even lie flat. I'm just sleeping curled up in a fetal position with a hot water bag pressed to my stomach. It really helps dull the cramps so I can sleep a bit.

Dehydration is your biggest enemy here, especially if you workout. Keep a bottle of ORS or electral water by your bedside and sip it every time you wake up. Sleep on your left side to help ease the bloating and gut pressure.

Listen to some light, calming music and don't worry too much. Keep your stomach warm with a light blanket and sleep on your left side. Drink some warm ginger water if you feel nauseous and rest well.

I hope you feel better soon. Try to sleep on your side with a pillow tucked between your knees to relieve tension from your abdominal muscles. Keep a warm bottle on your belly.

My daughter had this last week and couldn't sleep at all. I gave her a warm hot water bag for her stomach and made her sleep on her side. If the pain is very severe or there is blood in stool, please don't wait and take them to the doctor immediately.

At my age, one spicy dinner means spending the night running to the loo. I just lie on my left side, hug a pillow tightly, and keep the bathroom door open. If the pain gets too sharp, I just take a warm water bath to relax.

Stomach pain makes it so hard to sleep, ho na. Try to sleep on your left side, actually it helps with the digestion and reduces the cramps. Keep a hot water bag on your stomach, it gives so much relief, haan.

Bhai, stomach infection mein seedhe mat sona, left side karvat lekar hi sona, haan. And please drink ORS water instead of plain water, otherwise weakness ho jayegi, na. If pain is unbearable, go to a doc right away.

I used to panic thinking I have some major food poisoning whenever my stomach cramped like this. But usually, it's just a mild bug. Try sleeping on your left side with your knees bent, it really helps ease the gas and pain so you can rest.

My smart band showed my heart rate was quite high last time I had stomach cramps, likely due to dehydration. Make sure to log your water intake and sip fluids. Sleeping in a fetal position helps reduce abdominal wall tension, which might help you sleep.
