How to sleep with curls?

I have naturally curly hair and it always gets squashed and frizzy by morning. It's so frustrating! What's the best way to sleep so my curls stay intact and don't get messed up?

I've tried everything from braids to bun wraps, but the pineapple method is the most practical for curls. Just flip your hair upside down, tie it in a loose ponytail at the very top of your head with a satin scrunchie, and sleep. It keeps the curls intact without flattening them.

My sister has these gorgeous, high-maintenance curls that look like perfect jalebis. She literally sleeps on a silk pillowcase to prevent frizz while I sleep peacefully dreaming of biryani. She swears that satin pillowcases are a game-changer for curly hair.

To protect your curls and avoid scalp irritation, a satin bonnet is ideal as it reduces friction. Make sure you don't tie your hair too tightly, as traction alopecia is a real medical concern. If you have chronic scalp itching or hair fall, consult a dermatologist instead of just changing your sleeping habits.

I used to panic every morning seeing my curly hair looking like a bird's nest and thought I was losing too much hair. But actually, curly hair just traps shed hairs until you wash it. Sleeping with a loose satin bonnet solved the morning frizz and tangles completely.

God has blessed you with beautiful curls, so take care of them gently. Just braid your hair loosely before sleeping and say a small prayer of gratitude for a peaceful night. Sleeping on a soft cotton or silk fabric will keep your hair and mind calm.
