How to sleep with congested nose?

My nose is so congested, and I just can't get any good sleep. Every time I lie down, it feels even worse, and I can't breathe. What are some good sleeping positions or tricks to help with a stuffy nose?

I used to get so panicky when my nose would get completely blocked at night, feeling like I can't breathe at all. But actually it's very common and your body automatically breathes through the mouth. Just prop your head up on two pillows and it will ease the pressure instantly.

I have chronic sinus issues and have tried everything. The most practical thing is to use a saline nasal spray right before sleeping, as it's just salt water and totally safe. Also, use a humidifier in your room or put a few drops of eucalyptus oil on your pillow.

Writing this at 3 AM because one nostril is playing games with me. Honestly, keeping a hot water mug on my bedside table and inhaling the steam is the only thing keeping me sane right now. Sleep is a distant dream tonight!

Nose block is the most annoying thing ever, yaar. Actually what works for me is taking a super hot shower just before hitting the bed. The steam clears everything out and you can sleep peacefully for at least a few hours.

At my age, if it's not back pain, it's a blocked nose keeping me awake. I just apply some Vicks on my chest and throat, wrap a warm scarf, and hope for the best. If all else fails, I just sit up and watch old serials till my eyes get heavy.
