How to sleep with cervical radiculopathy?

My cervical radiculopathy is causing a lot of arm and shoulder pain, especially at night. It's hard to find a comfortable position that doesn't worsen the tingling. What's the best way to sleep with this condition?

I totally get it, that radiating pain and tingling down your arm makes it impossible to find a comfortable spot. Try sleeping on your back with a pillow supporting your neck and another one under your knees to take the pressure off your spine.

Personally, I found that sleeping on my side with a pillow tucked under my arm stopped my shoulder from dropping, which used to pull on my neck nerve and cause horrible morning pain. It might help you too.

Avoid sleeping on your stomach as it forces you to turn your head, which pinches the nerve root even more. Use a contoured neck pillow to keep your cervical spine in a neutral line, and keep your painful arm supported on a cushion.

A proper cervical pillow that keeps your neck straight is absolutely essential to stop that radiating arm pain at night.

Bro, studying for exams with this neck pain is crazy. I literally have to sleep on my back with a rolled-up towel under my neck because normal pillows make my arm go completely numb.
