How to sleep with cervical neck pain?

I've had cervical neck pain for a while, and it's making sleeping so difficult. My neck always feels stiff and sore in the morning. Are there specific pillows or sleeping positions that can help?

In my experience, switching to a thin cervical contour pillow made a massive difference. I also had to completely stop sleeping on my stomach, as it twisted my neck and made the pain much worse by morning.

Please try to relax your shoulders and release the day's stress before lying down. Sleep on your side with a pillow that fills the gap between your neck and shoulder, and keep your thoughts positive for healing.

Actually yaar, using two thick pillows is the worst mistake for neck pain. I switched to a proper memory foam cervical pillow and it supports the neck curve perfectly. No more stiff neck in the morning.

A gentle neck stretch before sleeping, followed by deep breathing, relaxes the cervical muscles. Sleep on your back with a rolled-up cotton towel under your neck curve to maintain its natural alignment.

I try to keep my sleeping posture very neutral because muscle tension can flare up easily. Side sleeping with a supportive pillow works best, but please consult a physical therapist for proper neck exercises.
