How to sleep with allergies?

During allergy season, I just can't get proper sleep. My nose gets blocked, eyes itch, and I keep sneezing. It feels impossible to sleep with all these symptoms. What helps to sleep better with allergies?

Washing your face and hair before bed is a total game changer to get rid of pollen! 🌸 Keep your pillows dust-free, sleep with your head slightly raised, and you will have a super peaceful sleep. Sweet dreams!

I totally get it, waking up with itchy eyes and a blocked nose is absolutely exhausting. I started using zippered allergen covers on my pillows and mattress, which made a huge difference. Elevating your head also helps clear the sinus pressure so you can rest.

Dude, dust allergies are the worst when you are trying to sleep in a hostel. I just make sure to dust my bed daily and use a steam inhaler right before sleeping. Keeping my window closed at night also stops the morning sneezing fits.

I have dealt with seasonal allergies for forty years now. Over time, I realized that simple steam inhalation with a drop of eucalyptus oil before sleeping works better than anything else. Don't worry, your body gets used to the changes and you will sleep fine.

To keep allergies at bay, keep your bedroom clean and wash your bedsheets in warm water weekly. Since we have to be careful with overall inflammation, keeping a dust-free environment naturally improves our sleep quality. Avoid eating sweet, heavy desserts late at night as well.
