How to sleep with a broken shoulder?

I had an accident and broke my shoulder, and now it's in a cast. Sleeping is nearly impossible because of the pain and not being able to move my arm freely. How can I get some rest with a broken shoulder?

Sleeping with a broken shoulder requires you to keep it completely stable. The best position is usually on your back, with your injured arm supported by pillows to prevent any movement. A wedge pillow can also be very helpful to keep your upper body elevated. Don't risk further injury by sleeping on the affected side.

That sounds really tough. I hope you find some comfort soon. Maybe try supporting your arm with extra pillows when you're on your back.

Oh baba re, broken shoulder is a big pain. You have to be very gentle with it. Try sleeping on your back only. Put two-three pillows under your head and shoulders, and one small pillow under the broken arm so it stays still. Don't move much, take rest. It will heal with God's grace.

Yaar, broken shoulder is so bad, must be super uncomfortable. Actually, I think the best is to sleep on your back, with lots of pillows to keep that shoulder from moving. Like, make a little fort around it, you know? And maybe a small pillow under your elbow too for support. Hope you recover fast!

My son broke his shoulder playing football, it was so worrying! We found that propping him up with a few pillows, almost in a semi-sitting position, on his back was the only way he could get any sleep. And we'd put a small pillow under his injured arm for extra support. Be very careful moving him.
