How to sleep while pregnant?

I'm in my second trimester now and finding a comfortable sleeping position is becoming a real challenge. My back aches, and I'm worried about sleeping on my stomach. Any tips for sleeping comfortably while pregnant?

My wife found that eating light, vegetarian meals in the evening helped with her heartburn and discomfort during pregnancy. Avoid anything spicy or too heavy before bed. Also, staying hydrated throughout the day, but cutting back on liquids closer to bedtime, helps reduce nighttime bathroom trips.

Pregnancy sleep is a whole different ballgame. I remember struggling and ignoring persistent discomfort once, thinking it was normal. Turns out, some issues like severe heartburn or leg cramps might need a doctor's advice. Always talk to your gynaecologist about anything that significantly disrupts your sleep, don't just suffer in silence.

Oh, pregnant sleep is tricky, yaar! My bestie went through this. She swore by a body pillow, apparently, it's a game-changer for side sleeping. And don't stress too much if you can't sleep, just rest your body. Every day is a new adventure when pregnant, haan!

For pregnant women, sleeping on your left side is generally recommended. Use plenty of pillows to support your belly and between your knees. Don't drink too much water right before bed to avoid frequent bathroom trips. And keep your room cool and dark. Simple, practical steps.

There are apps specifically designed for pregnancy sleep, with guided meditations and white noise for moms-to-be. Tracking sleep patterns can also help identify what's working or not. Also, my wife found those full-body pregnancy pillows really helpful for comfort and support.

During my pregnancy, my mother-in-law would always tell me to rest whenever I could, even if it wasn't night. And to sleep on my left side, it's good for the baby. But honestly, for any serious discomfort, consult your gynaecologist. They know best about specific safe positions and remedies.
