How to sleep while congested?

Been down with a cold for a few days now, and my nose is completely blocked. Sleeping is a real struggle because I can't breathe properly. Any advice on how to get some sleep when I'm so congested?

Uff, congestion is the worst, yaar! Can't breathe, can't sleep. Actually, what really helps me is a hot shower right before bed. The steam really clears things up for a bit. And then Vicks Vaporub, obviously. Don't forget that!

Oh, congestion used to make me panic so much, like I wouldn't be able to breathe! But then I realized it's mostly discomfort. I prop myself up with extra pillows, use a humidifier, and try to focus on slow breathing through my mouth if needed. It usually gets better, don't worry too much.

Elevating your head is crucial, so gravity can help drain the mucus. A nasal saline spray can also work wonders to clear the passages without medication. Make sure your room isn't too dry, a humidifier can help with that. Over-the-counter decongestants can be used for short periods if safe for you, check the label.

Beta, congestion means you need to sit up a bit, not lie flat. Stack a couple of pillows under your head. And put a little 'ajwain potli' (carom seeds in a cloth) near your nose, the smell helps open the airways. This is what my mother taught me, and it always brought relief.

For congestion, I swear by steam inhalation with a few drops of eucalyptus oil. Also, a warm salt water gargle can help clear the throat if it's related. And sip on warm ginger tea. If it's lasting too long or you have fever, please see a doctor, don't just rely on home remedies.

Dude, congestion is the worst! I just binge-watch some YouTube until I get tired enough to pass out. But legit, propping up your head with literally ALL the pillows helps. And if you have a Vicks inhaler, keep it by your bed. Lifesaver!

While it sounds like simple congestion, sometimes chronic sinus issues can be linked to other health conditions. I have thyroid issues, and for me, keeping general inflammation down helps. Beyond immediate relief, if it's a recurring problem, it's always good to consult an ENT doctor to check for underlying causes.
