How to sleep when your neck hurts?

Since yesterday morning, my neck has been really stiff and painful. Turning my head is difficult, and now sleeping feels impossible. What's the best position or trick to sleep when your neck is hurting this much?

Neck pain is awful, I know. You need a good ergonomic pillow, one that supports your neck's natural curve. I found that sleeping on my back with a rolled towel under my neck, or on my side with a pillow that keeps my head aligned with my spine, helps immensely. Avoid sleeping on your stomach.

Oh beta, neck pain is very troublesome. My mother always said to put a warm cloth on the neck before sleeping, it helps relax the muscles. And try to sleep on your back, not on your stomach. A soft pillow is also important, not too hard. Get well soon, dear.

I just recovered from a terrible stiff neck! What helped me was applying a pain relief gel and then using a heat pack for about 15 minutes before bed. And I switched to a memory foam pillow that's specifically for neck support. It made a huge difference, finally slept properly after days.

For working professionals, bad posture during work is often the culprit. Before sleep, a few minutes of gentle neck stretches (look up some safe ones online) can alleviate tension. If it's chronic, consider investing in an ergonomic office chair and definitely consult a physio. Time is money, so fix it fast.

Neck pain at night? That's just my body telling me I'm getting old, haan! I usually just keep shifting until I find a position that doesn't feel like my head is going to fall off. But seriously, a hot compress and a firm but comfortable pillow are my current best friends. Good luck!

Neck pain is so annoying, ho na? I've found that using a small, firm pillow or even rolling up a soft towel and putting it under your neck for support really helps. And massage it gently with some warm oil. Don't let it keep you awake, haan.
