How to sleep when nauseous?

Every few nights, I get this feeling of nausea that just won't go away, and it totally ruins my sleep. I just lie there feeling miserable. What's the best way to sleep when nauseous?

Hey! Nausea can be tough, I track my sleep and sometimes when I feel off, I try to use guided meditation apps. There are specific ones for nausea too. Also, keeping the room cool and dark helps a lot. Hope you feel better soon!

My amma always says to sip on some ginger tea when feeling nauseous, it's a very old remedy. For sleeping, try lying on your left side, it can sometimes help with digestion. But if it's constant, please do check with a doctor, they can give proper advice.

Oh, that's not fun. Try elevating your head slightly with an extra pillow; it can prevent stomach acid from coming up and making it worse. Also, avoid heavy or spicy food a few hours before bed. Just simple, bland things if you eat anything.

Oh god, I get this sometimes too, it's the worst feeling! Does anyone else feel like their stomach is just churning? I usually just lie completely still and try to focus on my breathing. Is there anything else that helps distract from the feeling?

Nausea is a pain. Don't eat anything heavy before sleeping, that's rule number one. Just sip some water, maybe a small piece of plain bread if you're really hungry. And try to keep your room dark and quiet. Simple stuff works best sometimes.

For me, a little bit of pudina (mint) tea helps settle the stomach, not too strong though. And make sure there's fresh air in the room, sometimes a stuffy room makes it worse. Keep a small bucket nearby just in case, it gives peace of mind.
