How to sleep train a 7 month old?

My baby is 7 months old now and still wakes up so many times at night. I'm feeling so exhausted all the time. Someone suggested sleep training, but I'm not sure how to start it effectively.

Sleep training can be tricky, especially with little ones. With my PCOS, I always felt more anxious about schedules and routines for my baby. Just go slow and see what works best for YOUR baby, every child is different. Don't rush it if it feels too stressful for either of you.

At 7 months, they're ready for some gentle training. We did 'pick up, put down' method. Stick to a fixed bedtime, even on weekends. Make sure the room is dark and quiet. A consistent nap schedule during the day also helps with night sleep. Be patient, it won't happen overnight.

As a working parent, time is precious, so I needed something quick but effective. We focused on a strict bedtime routine starting at the same time every night. No screens before bed, just quiet time. It took about a week, but the consistency really paid off. Don't expect perfection, but aim for improvement.

Honestly, sometimes these fancy sleep training programs cost a bomb. I just followed some free guides online for my nephew. Focus on a consistent bedtime routine – bath, massage, feed, then bed. It takes time, but it's practical and doesn't cost anything extra.

Oh god, I remember panicking so much when my baby wasn't sleeping through. Everyone says 'sleep train' but it just felt like a lot of pressure. It eventually happened! Just keep a consistent routine, make sure they're full and comfortable, and honestly, they get there when they're ready. Don't stress too much.
