Honestly, a good pillow makes all the difference. I switched to a memory foam one, thoda expensive laga pehle but worth it. Also, try sleeping on your back or side, not on your stomach. Stomach sleeping is really bad for the neck.
Neck pain? What's sleep? haha. But seriously, I used to get it a lot. I think my 'sleep like a pretzel' positions were the culprit. Now I try to keep my head and spine in a straight line, sounds simple but it helps. Still tired though!
Been there, done that, for years. Best advice is a firm mattress and a pillow that supports the natural curve of your neck. Not too high, not too flat. Also, do some gentle neck stretches before bed, even 2-3 mins. It really helps relax the muscles.
While good pillows and sleeping positions are important, if your neck pain is persistent or severe, it's always best to get it checked by a doctor. Sometimes it could be more than just a bad sleep position. Better safe than sorry, no?

Hey, I get neck stiffness sometimes too, not sure if it's related to my PCOS or just bad posture. But for sleeping, I find having a small rolled towel under my neck (when sleeping on my back) really helps keep it aligned. Don't overdo it with exercises though, gentle is key.
