How to sleep to fix rounded shoulders?

My physiotherapist told me I have rounded shoulders from all the desk work, and he mentioned my sleeping posture might be making it worse. What's the best way to sleep to help correct or at least not worsen rounded shoulders?

For rounded shoulders, it's not just sleep position but also strengthening your back muscles. Try sleeping on your back with a thin pillow or no pillow to keep your spine neutral. Also, incorporate exercises like rows and face pulls into your routine. Consistency makes a big difference!

Oh, rounded shoulders are common ho na. Sleeping on your back with a small pillow under your neck can help. Avoid sleeping on your stomach, it makes it worse. Maybe try a body pillow to keep you from rolling onto your side completely, haan na.

Yaar, rounded shoulders are such a pain! I heard sleeping on your back is best, maybe with a pillow that supports your neck properly. Actually, side sleeping can sometimes make it worse if your pillow isn't right. Check some YouTube videos for shoulder stretches too, they help a lot.

Honestly, for something like rounded shoulders, especially if it's bothering you, it's best to consult a good physiotherapist or an orthopaedic doctor. They can suggest specific sleeping positions and exercises tailored to your condition. Don't just guess, ask the experts clearly.

Please be careful with this. While sleeping position can help, sometimes rounded shoulders can be due to muscle imbalance or even prolonged bad posture during work. It's always safer to get it checked by a doctor or physio first. They can identify the root cause and advise properly.

Beta, try sleeping straight on your back with just a small, soft pillow under your head. Don't sleep on your stomach, that will make your shoulders go forward. Sometimes, doing light stretching in the morning also helps. Take care of yourself, it's important.
