How to sleep to fix posture?

My posture has become really bad from sitting at a desk all day. I heard that how you sleep can also help fix it. What's the best way to sleep to help improve my posture?

Honestly, fixing posture through just sleep can be tricky. It's more about how you hold yourself during the day. My physio told me that while sleeping on your back with a small pillow under your knees helps, consistency with exercises and conscious effort during waking hours makes the real difference. Best to consult a specialist if it's a major concern.

For me, sleeping on my side with a pillow between my knees really helped. And use a medium-firm mattress, not too soft or too hard. My wife also suggested keeping a small rolled towel under the small of my back when I sleep on my back sometimes, just to support the natural curve. Small changes but they do add up over time.

I used to have really bad neck pain because of my posture. I started sleeping on my back with a very flat pillow, almost no pillow actually. And sometimes I put a pillow under my thighs too. It felt weird at first, but after a few weeks, my neck felt much better. Everyone is different though, so see what works for you.

Oh, I totally get this! I was so worried about my posture becoming worse because of how I slept. I started making sure I don't sleep on my stomach at all, that's supposed to be bad for your spine. And I bought a memory foam pillow that supports my neck better. It's not a quick fix, but with consistent effort, you'll see progress, don't panic like I did!

Beta, ghar mein toh log bolte hain seedha sona chahiye, peeth ke bal. Tab kamar ko sahara milta hai. Aur takiya bhi bohot mota nahi hona chahiye, gale ko takleef hoti hai. Meri dadi toh bolti thi zameen pe sona sabse accha, posture theek rehta hai. Thoda mushkil hai par socho toh sahi baat hai na.

Haha, if only sleeping could fix everything, I'd be a supermodel by now! But seriously, I try to sleep on my back with a pillow under my knees. The trick is staying in that position all night, which my aging body refuses to do. Waking up like a pretzel is my usual morning routine. Good luck with your posture battle!

Haan, posture ka issue toh common hai aajkal. Main toh mostly sidha sota hoon, back pe, ek patla pillow leke. Side pe sote waqt toh ghutno ke beech pillow rakhne se kafi fark padta hai. Mere dost ko doc ne bola tha, na zyada soft gadda use karna na zyada hard, beech ka theek rehta hai. Try karke dekhna.

It's tough when you feel your posture is affecting your confidence or even causing discomfort. I totally understand. For me, just being mindful of my posture even while lying down has helped a bit. I try to align my spine mentally before sleeping. It's a journey, not a quick destination, so be patient with yourself.
