How to sleep on cervical pillow?

My physio recommended a cervical pillow for my neck pain, but I'm not used to it at all. How do I properly use a cervical pillow to sleep comfortably and actually get the benefits?

I'd be so worried about using it wrong and making my neck pain worse! Is there a 'right' side up for these pillows? Make sure you check the instructions properly and maybe watch a video. And if it's still uncomfortable after a few days, please get it checked out.

Be very careful with cervical pillows. I bought one thinking it would help my neck, but I ended up with more stiffness because it wasn't the right fit for me. It's really best to consult a physiotherapist or doctor. They can assess your needs and recommend the correct type and how to use it properly to avoid complications.

Cervical pillows are designed to support your natural neck curve. Most have a higher and lower side – use the one that best fits your neck when you lie down. I use a sleep tracker to monitor my sleep quality with it. If it doesn't improve your sleep or pain, maybe try a different brand or consult a physical therapist.

Bete, gardan ka takiya thoda alag hota hai. Usko aise rakho ki tumhara gardan ka curve achhe se support ho. Agar peeth ke bal sote ho, toh chota wala curve gardan ke neeche aayega. Side mein sote ho toh bada curve use karo. Par sabse achha toh hai ki koi expert dikha de.

Dude, it's weird at first. I got one for my neck pain. The trick is to position it so the curve goes into your neck, not just under your head. If you're a side sleeper, it should fill that gap between your head and shoulder. Takes a few nights to get used to it.
