How to sleep on a plane in economy class?

Next week, I have a 14-hour flight in economy class. I desperately need to sleep to avoid jet lag, but economy seats are so cramped. Any hacks for how to sleep on a plane in economy class?

It's definitely a challenge in economy. Just try to get as comfy as you can. A good neck pillow and eye mask make a big difference.

For economy, a window seat is your best bet so you can lean against the wall. Also, invest in a decent inflatable footrest; it helps elevate your legs and reduces discomfort. And wear layers, so you can adjust to the cabin temperature.

While making yourself comfortable is important, if you're considering any over-the-counter sleep aids, always consult your doctor first, especially for longer flights. Air travel can have specific considerations for medication, and safety should be the priority.

I'm planning my first long-haul economy flight soon, and this is my biggest worry! It sounds like a mission impossible. So a good neck pillow, eye mask, and earplugs are basically standard issue, huh?

Before you attempt to sleep, try some gentle breathing exercises, like Nadi Shodhana or just slow, deep breaths. This calms the nervous system and makes it easier for your body to relax, even in a cramped economy seat. Focus on your breath, and let go.

Bete, plane mein neend aana toh bhagwaan ki kripa hai! Par haan, thoda garam paani peena, aur apne favorite bhajan ya aarti sunna mann ko shaant karta hai. Aur achhe se kapde pehno, thand na lage. Aaram se baitho, bas.
