How to sleep comfortably in a car?

I often travel long distances by car, and trying to catch some sleep in the passenger seat is a nightmare. I always wake up with a stiff neck. Are there any tricks or accessories to help me sleep comfortably in a car?

For car travel, beta, a good neck pillow is essential. Sometimes I put a small towel rolled up behind my neck for support. And don't eat heavy food before the journey. A light stomach helps. Keep a shawl or light blanket handy, air conditioning can be tricky.

Initially, I used to panic about sleeping in a car, thinking I'd get neck pain or miss my stop. But then I realized a good travel pillow and relaxing background music made a huge difference. Don't overthink it, just try to make yourself as comfortable as possible.

Sleeping in a car is tough for posture. If it's a long journey, try to take short breaks to stretch and walk around a bit, if the doctor allows for any health conditions. This prevents stiffness and helps you relax when you do try to sleep. Good neck support is critical.

I also find it so difficult to sleep in a car... Do those U-shaped neck pillows actually work for everyone, or are there specific types that are better? I always end up with a stiff neck.

Sleeping in a car is hard even for healthy people, so if you have PCOS and are already dealing with fatigue, it's extra challenging. Definitely invest in a good neck pillow, maybe an eye mask, and try to get a window seat if possible so you can lean. Prioritize rest when you reach.
