How to sleep after septoplasty?

I had septoplasty done yesterday to help with my breathing. The doctor advised me to keep my head elevated when sleeping. I'm a bit confused about the best way to do this comfortably. Any suggestions for sleeping after nose surgery?

Septoplasty recovery requires elevated sleeping, hands down. Get a good wedge pillow, or stack up at least two or three regular pillows so your head is higher than your heart. This really helps with congestion and swelling. And try to stay strictly on your back; I taped myself in place almost, haha, just to be sure!

Septoplasty, eh? Prepare to feel like a pharaoh in ancient Egypt, all propped up and still! Seriously, elevated sleeping is key. Get ready to build a pillow fort around your head so you don't accidentally roll over. It's a temporary mummy phase for a better breathing future!

Any surgery needs careful post-op management. With my thyroid, I know routine check-ups are vital. For septoplasty, ensure you're following your ENT's instructions to the T. If you're having trouble sleeping due to pain or congestion, don't just self-medicate or try home remedies. Call your doctor for advice on safe pain relief or decongestants.

My son had this surgery, and it was tough initially. We made sure he slept on his back, always. We even put pillows on either side of him so he couldn't roll. Keeping his head elevated helped a lot with the stuffiness and nosebleeds. It might be uncomfortable, but it's important for the healing.

Haan na, after septoplasty, you have to be careful. Sleeping on your back with your head slightly raised, that's what the docs usually say. It helps reduce swelling and prevents blood from pooling. Don't worry, thoda time lagega, but you'll get comfortable. Just follow the doctor's instructions properly, ho na?

Aiyo, septoplasty needs careful rest. My family always says to keep the head elevated after any facial procedure to reduce swelling. So, plenty of pillows under your head, ma. But please, the doctor's advice is paramount. Don't neglect their specific instructions. Speedy recovery to you.
