How to sleep after c section?

It's been a week since my C-section delivery, and I'm finding it really hard to get comfortable in bed. My stitches hurt if I move too much. What's the best way to sleep without putting pressure on my incision?

My wife had a C-section a few years back. The doctors strictly told her to sleep on her back for the first few weeks to protect the incision. She used a ton of pillows to prop herself up a bit and to support her sides so she wouldn't roll. It's tough initially but gets better.

Hey, congrats on your baby! It's completely normal to find sleeping tough after a C-section. Your body has been through a lot. The best way is to sleep on your back, maybe with your head and upper body slightly elevated. You can also try placing a pillow under your knees for comfort. Be patient with yourself, you're recovering and doing great.

After bringing a new life into the world, your body needs all the rest it can get. Stay positive and focus on healing. For C-section, sleeping on your back is usually recommended to protect the incision. Surround yourself with peace and light, and remember to take care of yourself, mind and body.

Listen, after C-section, no heroics. Sleep on your back, flat or slightly elevated, for minimum 2-3 weeks. No turning on sides. Use pillows to barricade yourself if you tend to toss and turn. Pain meds on time. And don't lift anything heavy. Simple rules for good recovery.

Haan ji, after C-section, sleeping is a mission only! My bhabhi also had trouble. Doc told her to mostly sleep on her back only. Use extra pillows, ek under knees aur do side mein so you don't accidentally turn. Aur haan, take your pain meds on time, that helps a lot. Congrats on the baby!
