For mild nausea, sitting quietly and practicing deep chest breathing really helps settle the stomach. I also suck on a small piece of ginger or drink warm ginger water slowly. Let your stomach rest completely and don't force yourself to eat heavy meals today.

Honestly, if you are vomiting constantly, please don't wait too long at home. Try taking tiny sips of ORS water or normal water, but if it doesn't stop in a few hours, go see a doctor. Dehydration can happen really fast, so getting checked is always the safest option.

When I had a bad stomach infection last month, my doctor told me to strictly avoid milk products and solid food for at least 8 hours. He said to focus only on replacing lost fluids with ORS, coconut water, or weak black tea. Once the vomiting stopped, he allowed me to have light, easily digestible food like khichdi and curd rice.

When my stomach acts up, I immediately stop my workouts and give my body total rest. For recovery, I stick to a clean, bland diet like white rice, banana, and plenty of electrolyte water to stay hydrated. Don't rush back to heavy eating or training until your stomach is completely settled.

Don't try random home remedies like heavy herbal drinks or soda right now, it can irritate your stomach lining even more. What works for one person might make you vomit more. Better to consult a local doctor or GP nearby and get proper anti-vomiting medicine instead of experimenting online.
