How to set external monitors sleep time?

I use external monitors with my laptop, and sometimes I forget to turn them off, wasting energy. I want them to go to sleep automatically when not in use. How do I set the external monitors' sleep time?

Ah, just as we teach our bodies to rest and rejuvenate, our devices also need their sleep. You can usually find this setting in your computer's power management or display settings. It's important to give our eyes and minds a break from screens, just like we find peace in a good pranayama session.

Oh, that's usually in your computer's display settings or power options! 💻 Just go there, look for 'sleep' or 'turn off display after' and you can adjust the time. Super easy peasy! ✨ Keep those energy bills low! 😉

Yo, that's super easy! Just go into your laptop or PC's display settings, find the power options, and you can set how long before the screen goes to sleep. I do it all the time to save battery and also so my room isn't super bright when I'm chilling. Works for external monitors too.

Adjusting monitor sleep times helps save energy, which is a good habit. You'll find it in your computer's power settings. On a related note, regular breaks from screens are important for health. My doctor always tells me to limit screen time for my BP. Small lifestyle changes matter.

Setting a sleep time for monitors is a good idea, helps with eye strain. Usually, it's in your system's display settings under power management. Just make sure to save the changes. For health, little breaks from screens and good sleep habits really help manage things like PCOS symptoms, so this is a positive step.

I just did this last week! On Windows, go to 'Settings' > 'System' > 'Power & sleep'. Then scroll down to 'Screen' and 'Sleep' options. For external monitors, it usually follows the main display settings. It's a small change but makes a difference for power saving. Hope that helps!
