How to set boundaries for mental health?

Lately, I've been feeling overwhelmed and drained by people constantly asking for things or crossing lines. My therapist suggested I need to set healthier boundaries for my mental well-being. How do I go about setting boundaries effectively for mental health?

Setting boundaries is crucial, I learned it the hard way. Ignoring my own needs for others led to burnout and serious anxiety issues. Please, if you're finding it hard or feeling overwhelmed, talk to a therapist. They can guide you much better than self-help tips alone.

This is something I've been thinking about too, but it feels so hard to do. How do you even start telling people no without feeling guilty? Like, if your family needs something, how do you manage that?

Bro, boundaries are a game-changer. For me, it was simple things like turning off work notifications after a certain time, and telling friends I can't always hang out last minute. It feels weird at first, but people respect it eventually. Prioritize yourself.

Ho na, boundaries are so important, especially for our mental peace. Sometimes you just need to gently say no, or take a break, without feeling guilty. It’s okay to put yourself first sometimes. Haan na, everyone needs that space.

Honestly, just saying 'no' sometimes is a superpower. For mental health, it's about protecting your energy. Like, not responding to texts instantly, or choosing not to go to every single social event. It's tough initially, but it gets easier and your peace of mind improves a lot.
