How to rule out stroke?

My neighbour recently had a stroke, and it's made me more aware of the symptoms. Sometimes I feel a bit dizzy or my arm feels numb, and I get scared. What are the quick checks or signs to help rule out a stroke if someone is experiencing sudden symptoms?

There is zero scope for home diagnosis here. Use the FAST method: check for Face drooping, Arm weakness, and Speech difficulty. If any of these are present, it is Time to call an ambulance and rush to a hospital with a stroke unit.

Please remember that only a doctor can rule out a stroke with a brain scan. If you see any signs like facial drooping or slurred speech, go to the emergency room immediately.

As a medical professional, I always tell people that a stroke cannot be ruled out at home. If someone suddenly loses balance, has trouble seeing, or has difficulty speaking, take them to a hospital that has a CT scan facility immediately. Every minute counts.

Agree completely, you must act fast. Sudden numbness in the face, arm, or leg is a major red flag that requires immediate hospital care.

Bhai, stroke ya lakwe ka shak ho toh ghar par baith kar bilkul der mat karna. Agar bolne me takleef ho rahi ho ya haath-pair sunn ho rahe ho, toh turant sabse bade hospital lekar bhaago.

Do not follow any internet tips that say coughing or pricking fingers can stop or rule out a stroke. A stroke is a medical emergency that requires a brain CT scan or MRI at a hospital. If you see sudden neurological changes, seek emergency care immediately.
