How to rule out heart attack?

Lately, I've been getting some chest discomfort and lightheadedness, and it makes me quite anxious. How can a doctor or even a person know if it's something serious or just anxiety? What are the key indicators to rule out a heart attack when I feel these symptoms?

Please do not try to diagnose this on your own. I delayed going to the hospital for hours thinking it was just gastric pain, and it damaged my heart muscles. If you have chest pressure, radiating pain, or cold sweats, go to the nearest emergency room immediately.

An ECG and a basic Troponin test at a local lab do not cost very much and can save a life. It is much better to spend a small amount on these tests immediately rather than risk massive ICU bills later due to delay. Go to a hospital right away if there are symptoms.

The only safe and practical way to rule out a heart attack is to get an ECG done at a clinic. If someone is feeling sudden tightness in the chest, sweating, or choking sensation, do not wait or give home remedies. Take them to a doctor immediately.

Dekho yaar, chhati ke dard ko kabhi halke me mat lena, haan. Agar thoda sa bhi lagta hai ki heavy feel ho raha hai ya saans lene me dikkat hai, toh sidha doctor ke paas jao na. Internet par check karne se kuch nahi hoga.

According to my cardiologist, a heart attack can only be ruled out through clinical tests like an ECG, Echocardiogram, and cardiac enzyme blood tests. He advised that any severe chest pain lasting more than 10 minutes, especially if accompanied by sweating or nausea, must be treated as an emergency.
